Jessy Gabriel

With over 20 years of experience as a professional dog trainer, Jessy Gabriel has taught thousands of dogs and their owners in private, group and in-kennel environments. A member of the staff since 1994, she most recently served as Vice President of Training at Triple Crown Dog Academy, Inc., and as head instructor at the Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers, where she helped over a thousand students launch their canine careers. In addition to teaching and giving seminars and demonstrations around the country, Jessy has trained and competed with her own dogs in AKC Obedience, Agility, Hunt Tests, Search & Rescue and Schutzhund/IPO – including numerous national events and representing the United States in multiple international competitions – and has trained and certified several Police K9s. Her passion for animals has led her down many paths, including becoming a Certified Animal Care Specialist, Pet CPR and First Aid intructor, founding and operating the Homeward Bound Critter Rescue, and holding multiple patents for pet products that are currently sold in over 30 countries. Jessy also handles and trains animals for TV and movie productions, including such recent titles as Hitcher, Hours, Friday the 13th, Revolution and Joe.


Rob Dunn

As a certified trainer and behavior specialist for more than 20 years, Rob Dunn has worked with thousands of dogs and their owners. An original member of the staff of the Triple Crown Dog Academy, Inc., he most recently served as Vice President of Training, as well as head instructor for the Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers. In addition to helping over a thousand students pursue their dreams of becoming dog training professionals, Rob actively trains and participates with his own dogs in the rigorous three-phase sport of Schutzhund, serving as Regional Training Director for the South Central Region of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America. He has competed numerous times in national and world level competitions, and helped coach several students and handlers who have also competed at the highest level. In the past, Rob has also participated in AKC Obedience and was a member and performer of Purina’s Pro Plan Performance Team. Today, Rob also trains and works with Police K9s and handlers, conducts seminars and gives lectures on various dog-related topics throughout the United States and abroad, holds patents on numerous pet products and is a certified Pet CPR and First Aid instructor.
